Make the task familiar before the moment matters.
The Synapse is one of seven Super Age Games challenges. Competitors will use the full 3D NeuroTracker version, where several targets move among identical distractors and the pace adapts to performance.
Trying the guided challenge now will not guarantee a Games result. It will let you learn the task, understand what demands your attention and begin with something familiar rather than completely new.

Looking for the research? Visit the science libraryWhat is NeuroTracker—and why is it part of the Super Age Games?
NeuroTracker is an adaptive multiple-object-tracking programme. At the Super Age Games it powers The Synapse, one of the Games challenges. Trying the guided version now lets you become familiar with the core task before encountering the full 3D version at the Games.
What happens when I choose “Try the challenge”?
The experience opens full-screen and guides you through two, three and four targets before a faster finale. You can close it and return to this page at any time.
Do I need an account, payment details or 3D glasses?
No. The guided challenge starts in 2D without an account or payment details. The full NeuroTracker programme uses compatible 3D glasses, and the Games will use the 3D version for The Synapse.
What does my challenge result mean?
It describes how you performed in this short tracking challenge. It is not an IQ score, a diagnosis, a dementia screen or a measure of your overall brain health.
I already bought an eligible Super Age offer. What should I do?
Super Age will send eligible buyers their NeuroTracker benefit or code directly. You do not need to identify yourself here, and you can still try the challenge while you wait.
The quickest way to understand it is to try it.
Start the guided challenge, build from two targets to four and reveal the Super Age reader offer when you finish.
